Some folks focus first on getting rid of the weeds in the garden so they can enjoy the beauty of the flowers. Some don't notice weeds. YOU?
Do you seek perfection and try to fix any flaws before you can enjoy the beauty of anything? What if you can't fix it? Do you move on to things you can fix? When do you stop to smell the roses? Or are you so afraid of the thorns you don't bother?
The most rarest expensive Orchid grrowing on a major base ball ground playing area place would be considered a weed Rosie growing where it's not wanted... Any things that grows ,no matter what are called weeds if foung growing where unwanted..
Once again you offer up something I have never heard before. Also I find it impossible to accept that simply not wanting something/someone renders the unwanted as trash. I don't accept that D. Not at all. It has nothing to do with the value of the unwanted. It has everything to do with intellect of the viewer. The emotional stability or lack thereof. The person who decides what is worthy and what is not. Humans are fallible and often defective. What they assign to what they view can be very true or very un. The Pumpkina** adoring worshippers think GAG was sent to them by GOD. I know you don't believe in GOD. It matters not. The anti-GAG's think the Pumpkina** is the work of the devil sent to us to test us to see how evil we will allow ourselves to become. Or to put it more simply. The degree of presence or absence of valuing honor honesty kindness justice resides in the observer and shows us what he/she is or isn't. Doesn't make their observations true or false. The a**kissing GAG adoring worshippers value him most bigly. The antis despise him and think he is an abomination. So which is it? Both. The eye of the beholder in every case. SIGH. Just my take. Thank you for your reply. I value unicorns. You say there are no such things. Your assessment is of no concern to me. No disrespect intended. In my world there are unicorns. And so it goes. :)

I just checked my dictionary again Rosie.. and it says .....A plant not valued were its growing...it matters not what it is ,it's where it is that defines it as a weed.... No one said it was trash Rosie..,it just growing where it's unwanterd ,plus unneeded..
I don't doubt the accuracy of your statement D. I simply think it's ridiculous. Not you. You aren't ridiculous. What happens if I want it and you don't? To me it is a flower and to you it is a weed. Not everyone agrees all the time about everything. Individuals are wired differently. Some only notice the ugly while others only notice the beauty. Each person is master/mistress of his/her surroundings. Some think life is a can of worm. Others think life is thing of beauty and a joy forever. I don't feel I must needs agree with what is written by others. Eye of the beholder ya know. Thank you for your reply. I like dictionaries. My unabridged dictionary is my favorite book and I go it daily. So your definition of a weed agrees with what is written in the dictionary...any unwanted plant is a weed anywhere. Fine with me. I just disagree. Happy Saturday to thee! :)

You do get some really strange gardeners that only plant the seeds in people that they only want to grow....No matter what they look like, if they grow into some thing a politician gets upset with ,they have thier expensive fertililizer reduced and are kept left hanging on for it to rain.... It like people playing god....some have the power they think and it just open for abuse..
We create our own reality D. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The Pumpkina** fans behold beauty in him where the nonfans behold venal vile evil. Two opposing realities! Both alive and surviving. Weird. It's always been that way. We set our own standards and justify our own shortcomings/rationalizations/excuses. It's the way of the world. What I value you may not and vicey versie. What's right for you may be anathema to me. We judge according to how we are wired and we have no control whatsoever of that. We are whom we are. That's sad and good and bad depending upon which part of us is in charge at any given time. We click or don't from time to time. I think that's very good because that proves we are independent thinkers and not programmed robotic automatons. I think. I don't know for sure! Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday to thee! :)
