    I don’t know the average... My house is  1435 square feet, that does not include the basement.My house would be considered smallish  where I live if that helps :)

    Jaimie~ You are the sweetest.  I love your answer. :) :).  I think your house is the perfect size for you and the basement is an added bene!  
    I was referring to (which you probably knew and that makes it so funny,) was how many kidlets or children does the average couple have.
    For example, there are 4 in my immediate family.  My mom, dad, sister, and me.
    But, your answer is tops!
