    Since it happened on a rare day in 1977, I say nothing changed much in the climate. 

    Now if it starts to be a regular occurance then we can talk climate change.

    Weather. Climate isn't the same thing, it's about long term trends. If an Indian Ocean dipole happens five years running, triggering the worst drought in Australia in living memory - that's climate change. One freak happenstance is just weird weather.

    Not in the City, but my niece lives in Suffolk County and she said they had some snow - nothing that stuck, though.

    Actually, on the news last night, they said Central Park recorded a dusting of snow.
