    It's not the bars themselves so much, rather it's the defiance they represent.

    I disagree m'dear. Bars appeal to drunks and people who are lax in their interests. It's where you go to pick up and hook up temporarily. You enter sober and leave drunk as a skunk. The be-all and end-all of "a certain period of time" and "a certain type of homo saponin". What you encounter there are other slobs exactly like you. Scintillating edifying intelligent conversation is MIA. You don't go to a bar to learn anything. Intellect is left outside. You go in look around and proceed to mummify your brain so can hook up and get lucky. Seriously Shuhak what kind of people would do that first thing? People you'd like to hang out with? For what pupose? Getting drunk and hooking up? Sleaze rules in bars and in the bottles of alcohol. It's what they sell. Just my opinion. Thank you for your reply!
