Are you a picky picky stickler for what is "correct"? Are you a perfectionist? Do you apply that template to others and expect perfection?

I don't get perfectionists. Being one must be a real bummer because they are always disappointed since nothing and no one is perfect. So they nitpick and mutter and kvetch about it. I expect they see things very differently from me. I rarely if ever notice imperfect. I just accept whatever it is and try to work with it. If I can get it to do what I expect it to do I'm happy It doesn't need to be at its optimum level. Perfectionists expect "it" to operate at optimum levels 24/7 or they get bummed out and are unhappy and focus on the imperfection. I think living life that way must be annoying as hell. Not for them but for those who are around them. I wonder if perfectionists were raised by parents who were perfectionists? If they were always disappointing their parents because they weren't perfect? Do they pass that along to their kids and find fault with everything they do/say? I dunno.  Since I'm not one I have no idea what makes them tick. Do you?
