It bothers me when things work oppositely to what I expected. The more questions I ask the more questions occur to me. WHAT?

Is it questions that generate more questions or the responses to the initial questions that generate more questions or is it both? It can be maddening at times and very unsatisfying.

One would think the more questions asked the fewer would remain to be asked but it doesn't work that way. AT least not for me.
