Does it excessively unnerve you when you encounter someone who disagrees with you..someone who usually sees things as you do?

It definitely causes the powers that be in this country to go off the deep end and obssss about it. It is puzzling.

Maybe it's this simple. If someone disagrees with the powers that be it is an affront an insult an attack on his very essence. To the powers that be there is no such thing as simple honest disagreement. It does not and cannot exist in the world he controls.

Why is that?

    No,we are not all clones and it's always important to hear others points of view....you may dislike someone a lot,but that doesn't make all they say is nonsense ....We all need to keep an open mind and even foolish people can have and come out with brain waves...That goes for people in all walks of life as well...the best education around ,doesn't necessarily make you clever....
    A good example is how astounding and autistic person can be in certain fields...Some people good or bad see things you cannot ...and that goes for all things in life I find...

    It all starts at conception. The DNA of the sperm and the egg get together. Whatever it is the product of the union will be as well. Now if the sperm/egg intellect averages 70 I doubt that the product will be a genius. I'll ask. So whatever the result the product had no choice in the matter. Simple biology.     Clever educated couples don't make for genius kids Rosie....Birth ,knowledge and wisdom is nothing more that a lottery...How many genius are born yet go unnoticed ...if you were born a genius in the poorest part of Africa  say....what chance of you getting noticed and rising up the social Chaim....

    I don't agree with that D. At least in my experience it is otherwise than you indicate. I attended high school and there was a gal who father was a JUDGE and whose mother was a LAWYER. She was very smart. Are you saying her genes had nothing to do with it? I think intelligence breeds intelligence and stupid dumb carries on through the generations. Do I have evidence proof facts to back that up? I haven't researched it. I am simply going by what I personally have experienced in my life. And so it goes. Small minds breed small minds. In my mind. Thank you for your reply D. I guess I'll GOOGLE it.

    There  were many girls at school that came from poorer homes Rosie...Not all of the ones that came from wealthy parents came top of the class...People in our office that come from working class families get promoted and do better than any private or public school educated ones...
    How they speak to people is a huge turn off to...Generally they don't last long in our office..

    You know D your experience is very different from mine. During the many decades working I could not tell who came from wealth and who did not. There was no difference among them. Maybe they were all like me...lower middle class families I did work with those who had advanced University degrees. I don't. Just an AA (Associate Arts) from Junior College and my course of study was LIBERAL ARTS. I tool Economics, Logic and Accounting in night school.  I know I worked with folks who had advanced degrees but you really couldn't tell that from how they spoke.
