Do gender role reversals bug you? Where the gal is the one who can repair anything and the guy is the great cook/ neatener upper?

It makes sense that whoever does the best job of the job should have the job and whoever doesn't shouldn't.

But would that work for the macho dude or the fragile delicate femme who get all flustered when they're witness to unstereotypical relationships?

Why do you care if the dame is the Olympics Gold Medal Wrestler and the guy is in the local ballet group? They love each other. What else matters?

Only when it's done for the sake of political correctness. They didn't need to do Ghostbusters again with an all-girl cast, and neither does the world require a a lesbian version of Brokeback Mountain.
I liked She's the Man - a female soccer whiz who pretends to be her brother so she can play, while her brother is a klutz who can't kick straight.

Thank you for your reply R. I have not heard of that movie but it sounds very adorable!  I think it must be really hard a guy for female to outshine them in sports. Like a gal with a great arm who outpitch any guy. :)

I really do not care.  Whatever works for the couple.  My brother stayed home with his kids for years when they were little.  His wife was a RN and could  make for money than he could. So it made sense for them.  Nobody can afford to pay daycare for 4 kids.  Once they were in school he did work outside of the home but his wife still makes more than him.  She is an LPN now.

In my house most roles are typical. But we will each do what needs done to get the job accomplished.
