WHY ARE YOU HERE? Why do you show up on Answermug? To change minds or to simply let folks know what you think?

Do you really think you can change minds that are petrified with partisan views? Whether it be politics or religion or anything? Have you changed anyone's mind about anything ever? Has anyone changed YOUR mind about anything ever?

There is benefit to hearing what people think. That way you can figure out why they say what they say. Are they "objective" in their views and independent or do they all sound alike because they are always reading from the same approved script and dare not deviate a word from it?

It's just an exercise of the mind. Engaging in lively conversation is a good thing generally. It energizes and keeps the old brain working. But if your goal is to convince someone that your view is correct and all other views aren't fuggedddabboutitt!

    Mostly to cheer people up and spread a bit of humourshs and  happiness Rosie...Then I discovered Randy D and decided it would be good to become a thorn in his side to keep him on his toes and keep him on the straight and narrow....So far it works and I get loads of support from fellow muggers...:)

    SAY WHAT? The randy is still here? I thought he left long long long long long long long ago. I guess he never ventures into my little space. I can't for the life of me envision your being a thorn to anybody D. Seriously. Thank you for your reply. Me? I'm here to ask questions. If I get any responses that are civil I am thrilled. If they are thoughtful knowledgeable informative I'm OVER THE MOON. That's it. That's all. :)
