And those corrupt criminal obscenely wealthy POLS REFUSE to do anything about it? REFUSE to extend unemployment benefits?

    Yes Federal minimum wage is $7.25/hr.  Workers who make tips the minimum is $2.13/hr and the tips are from customers make up the difference to get to $7.25 ($5.12/hr).  If the tips do not make up the difference the employer is required to make up the difference. 
    I hate the tip system.  But I know several servers and they say they would rather get the tips than get the $7.25 and no tips.  

    I have never worked as a server.
