Tulsa Race Riots happened 99 years ago today in Tulsa, Oklahoma. How many race riots in America since its birth? How many lynchings?

Does America have another distinction besides owning so many guns? Does it own the distinction of having the most race riots and also the most lynchings? It is really a KKK-based country? Still?

    How many is "many"? Two dozen? A hundred? Is there any limit to how "MANY" a single person is allowed to own or is the sky the limit and if you can afford to you can buy them by the gross? Thank you for your reply G Von S and Happy Sunday to thee! :)

    I very much appreciate your answering my question with civility. Nothing snarky or sarcastic. I appreciate that too. May I ask what kinds of guns they are? I'm not a gun person obviously so all I know is that all guns kill living things. But some are used to kill game (rifles I guess) and others are used to kill humans. I was shocked to learn that in Minneapolis during the ongoing riots per the governor people were carrying assault weapons and other loaded guns which were all confiscated. Why would anyone take a loaded gun to a protest centering on the death of an innocent man? Could you explain that to me please and thank you Gil! I really have no clue and  I think maybe you can explain to me so I can understand! :)

  • Mostly pistols, I do own shotguns and rifles too. My gun ownership is a personal choice and I don't understand the whole gun nut mentality myself.

    Seriously Gil? Extraordinary. Are you a hunter? One of our sons used to hunt now and then but now he is into motorcycles and at last count I think he has 4.  He rides off road and his wife also rides! Thank you for your reply. I watch Antiques Roadshow a lot and from time to time people bring in gorgeous guns..usually they're quite old antiques. Lots of carvings on them. Do they make beautiful guns today too? Anyway I digress. Happy Monday and I hope you and yours are doing well! :)

    The Tulsa race riots happened in Tulsa, OK. That would be why they're known as the Tulsa race riots. In other news, the Chicago fire of 1871 happened in Chicago, the San Francisco earthquakes of 1906 and 1989 happened in San Francisco, and Grant is buried in Grant's Tomb.
