Kudos to the diehards who demanded their voices be heard. Kudos to you and and much good bad on the powers that be that purposely tried to cheat you out of voting. A pox on their houses...they are all louses! Or are they all lice?
I probably wouldn't have waited that long for a local election. They spent $104 million on voting machines and they did't work. Wonder which politician owns stock in that manufacturing company. The more technologically "advanced" we get when it comes to voting, the more it gets screwed up. Let's go back to paper ballots if we can't get the machines to work. Happy Wednesday. :)
Obviously ignorant about computers and software they did NOT buy them early enough to do "test" runs to see if they were in good working order. So the usual happened. CHAOS. I mean any time you even get a new PROGRAM on an existing computer system you TEST IT OUT so you can find any flaws and DEBUG it. I have no idea who the genius was who didn't know that. Of course due to the nature of the Georgia political situation it could well have been done ON PURPOSE. Thank you for your reply L and Happy Thursday! :)

As a subspecies/genre they do not read they do not learn they do not ask questions. They already know everything so they do not waste time in learning. As a result you see what you get. Repeatedly. Ubiquitously. SIGH. Thank you for your reply L! :) ((hugs)) Just felt like it that's why! :):):)
Makes me wonder what this country would look like if the south had won the Civil War.

That is a very sobering very distrubing and very horrifying thought L. I think we'd find out if bunker boy is re-elected. He is a Confederate surfacely and in his gut for sure and maybe even his arse and his white supremacist peeps know that. So we could find out...I hope we don't. I hope it's just a fantasy..your "if". I hope. I hope. I hope. Thank you for your reply! :)
The entire fiasco was reminiscent of Lincoln's story about the boy that stubbed his toe. He was too big to cry but it hurt too bad to laugh. Same here in the Empire State of the South. After pulling up the rear in 2016 on election night and being the last state to report returns in the nation, millions were spent on a new system to both electronically record and produce a paper copy as back up in statewide polling. It all went over like a brick blimp. More waste and more frustration. While we had no discernible problem in our area of the state, it was a tragic debacle elsewhere. At midnight on Tuesday about 35% of the vote had been reported. Bigger and more expensive isn't necessarily better.
