The "weaponization" (or "militarization", if you will) of the police began in earnest in the mid 1960s. Basically after the Texas A&M tower shootings. That's when police departments began to actively seek having SWAT units and military hardware. And as the military knows, if you have the equipment you have to use it.
Isn't it trump that brought them in? Why did he do that so quickly? I know. For the BIBLE OP PHOTO OP. But he never once sought to talk to any of the leaaders out there. And in the midst of all the anguish angst and peaceful protests worldwide two more cops are involved in MURDURING ANOTHER black man in the back AS HE IS RUNNING AWAY FROM THEM...without having a deadly weapon in hand and is NO THREAT to them. They are brain dead stone deaf and automatic robotic reactors. Not one brain among them. Not even a teeny tiny itsy bitsy one. It will happen again soon. Thank you for your reply Walt.
