    They have not discussed their plans with me. But you might have noticed that movies in general were preoccupied with rich people up to the mid forties, then with people with superb taste up to 1960 or so, slobs until recently, and now minorities. (My assessments might be way off because I stopped watching movies forty years ago.)

    IOW you are seeing the evolution of public tastes. One symptom of a collapsing culture is a general rejection of traditional morality, religion, and all standards of excellence.
