BREAKING NEWS! Virus uptick among 20 and 30 year olds who flooded bars to drink and now you see the result of that! Good ta know. Right?

No masks. No social distancing. No nuttin except jammed together butt to butt hoisting a few and getting drunk. Just what folks are supposed do right? So now those chickens have come home to ROOST. WHOOPEE! Sheesh. Losers.

    Unfortunately, many of them – even if they get seriously sick – would gladly go out and do it again.  Remember, youth thinks it’s indestructible.  Their motto - “you only go around once, so grab all you can and don’t let anyone stop you.”

    The GOOD NEWS is they will pay a hefty price for it. The BAD NEWS? So will everyone with whom they come in contact. Two-edged sword? Yin and yang? The light and the dark?     It's hardly breaking news. Experts have been talking about this for weeks. 

    But, yes, that's the consequence of large gatherings. All age groups are infected equally. Serious disease and complications, however, mostly affect the older population. 

    Some of the younger generation are not going to listen, and some restaurant and bar owners are not going to listen either. So, if the party-goers who don't practice social distancing go to the bars and clubs that don't care about it, that don't even try to do anything, we don't need Anthony Fauci to spell it out for us anymore. It's guaranteed spread. 

    So what's the answer? 

    Enforce social distancing and mask wearing? Hold the individual accountable.

    Or

    Penalize the restaurants, bars, clubs? Hold the business accountable .

    Or

    Another shutdown? Slow the spread of the virus down. 

    Or

    Continue on? And just let it go where it goes.

    I don't know anymore. :(

    I disagree with your first sentence. I'm on board with the rest of your fine thoughtful answer. IT IS BREAKING NEWS for the stupid dumbs who are causing this who didn't know that what was being reported as GOING TO HAPPEN WOULD HAPPEN. To the stupid dumbs everything is breaking news because they block it tune it out refuse to take it seriously because the trump demands it of them. The Texas and Florida governors have now closed down things..backtracked on things as their new case counts SOAR. They ignored and pooh poohed all of it as good little braindead toady sycophant trump worshippers. Now they are breaking ranks because their daily counts of new cases are worse than they were initially. BREAKING NEWS they are finally paying attention to what they were told all along would occur but ignored. Chickens coming home to roost. The trump will be enraged and furious and irate and very irritated by all of this turnaround and disobedience. He will continue cramming jamming together the adoring worshippers who value him above their lives because he is not trainable. He doesn't give a rat's a** about anyone or anything except him. That's the name of that tune. His "leadership" is now a worldwide joke and shock as well. He is a laughingstock and becoming more so as the world weeps for us and can't understand how we could have elected such vermin and still support him. Stay tuned. It will get worse.
