Many foods and beverages are sold in man-made packaging that has specific principal colors based on the product, such as:

milk — white packaging 
Grated Parmesan cheese — green packaging
mustard — yellow packaging 

  Similar to the three examples above, what are some other foods or beverages and the principal color of each of their  man-made packaging?

    I have not seen Parmesan cheese packaged in green. Where do you get that from?

      I stand corrected. It’s never been packaged in any green container in the history of mankind.

    Bananas are yellow and apples are red, green, or yellow depending on variety. Different cheeses are packaged in various colors as well. At one grocery store I frequent, Swiss comes in a blue package, cheddar and Colby Jack in yellow, and provolone in red.

    But cheese is just shrink wrapped in clear plastic. So I guess that means your cheese is green.

    In Canada, there’s only one single solitary way that any cheese product can ever be packaged?  Sorry, in other parts of the works there is a lot more variety.

    Milk here is in clear containers.  The labels and caps are color coded to show the fat %.   
    Red = Whole milk (4%)
    Dark Blue = 2%
    Light Blue = 1%
    Pink = Skim (0%)

    I don't know about packaging by product, but I do know that certain colors are used to give an impression about what the package contains. E.g a green package implies a healthy food, a black package implies a high-end one.
