My date and time is all set I resetted my phone it's not working worth a shi@t hasn't all day. I can't get Yahoo to work at all today when I try it says " your connection is not private " I tried everything I could think of. I even did reset factory settings on my phone it still didn't help my date and time is set our Internet has been out all night because of a damn rain storm but it's back on now every other site is working it's not working on my phone or ipod. It says it expires in December I ain't waiting 6 months to be on YA that's way too much pressure. I keep getting this message both on iPod and phone. What's going on ? How can I fix this ?

It's not you so you can't fix it. It's a problem with Yahoo.

You got ransomized. It happened to me four years ago, where my account was shut down by hackers...me and 500 million others. Any attempts I made to get back resulted in the hackers wanting $200 to get me back in. I gave up. Yahoo is impossible to contact. Don't waste your time. I got booted from yahoo answers 12 years ago. A badge of honour.

I'm not on Yahoo Answers, but I have noticed that my Yahoo Mail has been going out or commission more often and there are times when it will not take a thumbs up unless you hit "reply" first.  After a while, I just get tired and move on.  I also have had trouble posting replies with the note that there is a system error and to try again later.

I just started a g-mail account. My old yahoo account must have a billion emails in it.

I thought about doing that, but so many things and people have my Yahoo email that it's a daunting process to change it.

95% of my yahoo mail was junk. They didn't realize I didn't need viagra or a Russian bride. That has posed a problem on a couple of websites, though. I have been unable to give them my new one because I have to log in to do so and my yahoo emial is part of the log-in and it is no longer valid. I even tried to do it on the phone, but it didn't work. They were perplexed.

I don't get that much junk email although I do get a boatload of crap advertising on Yahoo itself.  No matter how many times I say I don't want to hear from a particular advertiser, they always pop up again.  That's the price to be paid for a free site.  I'm not even sure I can recall all the places I've used my personal email to even change it.
