It makes just as much sense letting the LOSER of a presidential election retain power for over two months before his replacement takes over.

No difference at all.

That's the American way. That's the system.

Like or dis? Why?

According to superheroes, it makes sense.
That's what they always do, isn't it?

EG: Batman catches a mass-murdering sociopath, takes him to jail ... the criminal escapes and goes on a killing spree ... Batman catches him again, and puts him back in the same prison ... and around, and around, and around.

Gotham would probably have a lower crime rate and higher standard of living, if Batman would just kill the villains.
Of course, how many innocent bystanders has Batman killed by blowing up buildings and vehicles?
Guess he cares more about the lives of villains than law-abiding citizens.  So he'd probably make a good politician.

Hmmm.  Sorry, went off on a tangent, there.

You what's got me SUPERWORRIED? Biden wins but trump stays another ten weeks. What happens in that ten weeks. Any thoughts on that? Thank you for your reply! :)

Probably the same thing that happens any time a President loses power to the opposition party.
They do a lot of pardons and executive orders.

Those are the "normals" Walt. Nix on never had a crack at it. The current "it" is abnormal in all ways. What worst case horrors do you see him pulling off during those ten weeks? SIGH. Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday to thee and thine! STAY SAFE! :) This post was edited by RosieG at July 3, 2020 6:55 AM MDT
