Of the 200 judges appointed by trump and confirmed by mcconnell 53 were Appeals Court judges..none of whom are black. WHY is that?

Among the other judges excluding Appeals Court how many are not white? Why is that?

    Fewer blacks in law school = fewer black lawyers.
    Fewer black lawyers = fewer chances of being picked for federal appointments.

    According to the American Bar Association, in 2018 there were 1,338,678 (licensed, active) lawyers in the US.

    According to various sources, there are between 800 and 2,000 federal judges.

    Even using the 2,000 figure; that makes the chances of ANY lawyer making it to a federal judgeship only 0.00149%

    Then we have to consider that federal judges are selected from state court judgeships ... where the judge is either elected or appointed, based on their politics.

    My head hurts from all those stats Walt! But if there are say only 800 federal judges the trump appointed 200 of them! Boy that sucks bigly. His partners in crime? The fake AG who has nothing to do with judge appointments and that son of an itch moscow mitch who has everything to do with it! Disgusting!
