Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Campaigning on behalf of Hillary are Sanders/Biden/both Obamas/Warren/soon Al Gore. And bigmouth Bill Clinton. How helpful will they be?
I'll watch for entertainment but I'm sorry to say that I'm saddened that we don't have a better slate than what we have with all that is going on in the world, This is serious business and the only one taking it serious is Putin.
I agree with thee TT but what the he** can we do about it? We're stuck with those candidates. I"m voting for the least awfullest worstest one. At least from what I think now. I might be wrong but I only get one vote so I"m gonna vote for least worst awful. Isn't that absurdly pathetic? I can't not vote. Thank you for your reply. A Happy Camper I am not. :(
I disagree with thee wholeheartedly Glis. He didn't sell out in my opinion. He said he would do ANYTHING to prevent Donald Trump from becoming prez. That is hardly selling out. He said he would work very hard to effect that and he is doing just that by holding rallies for Hillary. Now we know Hillary isn't his cuppa tea but Donald Trump is anathema to him and so he is doing whatever he can to save the country from a president Trump. I commend him for that. He was also instrumental in getting Hillary to adopt more liberal things in her platform. He has been very effective and I think it is to his credit that he has put his time/energy/effort where his mouth was. I'm sorry you think he sold out. I couldn't disagree more m'dear! Thank you for your reply! :)
Clinton managed to pull this off without any real interference from any of the above. That's to her credit. When you run unopposed, you need no surrogates out in the hustings Not really. By the way, we hear much from the president on how this election is a referendum on his "legacy". If this election had been about his "legacy" instead of a lot of babble about character flaws, then Clinton would have lost in a landslide. He'd better be glad that all of it was mudslinging and not about him.
