It seems the GOP and RNC really love Pence. Some of them aren't similarly in love with Trump. Does Trump realize that or does he think he is beloved by everyone in the party?
I think that your question is more in line with a hypothetical inquiry, as we both now know that the Trump/Pence ticket has imploded. But, I suppose that even sunken ships have a figurehead on the bow.
