See what you’ve started, Stu?  I hope you’re happy.

I logged in for about ten minutes last night and was pretty sure Stu was either high, drunk or losing it lol.

  • It reminds me of this scene:

It makes me think about my brother, who wrecked Papa's new truck when he was 17.  It gave me an idea for a question.

I Don’t really remember much  about the movie to be honest, not even that scene lol. It’s been years since I’ve watched it. Was your brother grounded till 18 after the crash?

  • He may have wished he were grounded until his 18th birthday instead of the punishment he received.  Papa bought both of us old cars for our 17th birthdays.  He bought me an old Renault.  He bought my brother an old VW.  He took my brother's car back from him and he sold it to pay for the insurance deductible.  We lived on a farm, so the only way my brother could go to school was in a school shuttle.  We don't have school buses here, so some parents pay private shuttle companies to take their kids to school.  We get our driver's licenses on our 17th birthday, so I drove myself to school during my last year of high school.  It's humiliating for someone who's in their last year of high school to go to school in a fluorescent orange minivan.  My brother was humiliated.
