My son went to a protest here in our town. He was a peaceful protester. He was not a rioter etc.
I told him before he went not to let any agitators from either side get him into trouble. If someone was doing stupid stuff (throwing things etc) get away from them. That is how peaceful protesters get harmed in the crossfire. Someone stand behind or near you and the officals only know the direction the object came from. Thankfully our protests remained peaceful for the duration.
