Are you someone or do you know someone of foreign-American heritage who is actually from or has visited their country of origin?

My brother in law is from Czech Republic. Their family has went to Czech a couple of times in the last 25 yrs.

 

  My wife is a naturalized American citizen, which means she was not born in the US. She was 24 when she left her country for the first time in her life, she came here to the US and we got married. Since arriving in the US, she has returned at least ten times for vacations.

  The country or countries of my ancestors’ origins are unknown. I have traveled to over 20 foreign countries in my lifetime, so there is a slight possibility that I have unknowingly been in a country of my ancestors’ origins.

My mom was born in Japan and moved to the U.S. when she was in her 20s. She and I have been there many times since. 

You mean the country our ancestors came from.  I once visited France. Never Poland or England or Ireland.  But had nothing to do with any ancestors. 

Wouldn't he be Egyptian - American?
