    MnM's Peanut Butter and packages of candy to an english teacher from my church in Russia, many years ago.  She had to stand in long lines just to get food which was hard to find.

      Why is that a strange combination?  I see nothing strange about it at all, it seems quite common to me. You’re strange for thinking it’s strange.

    I don't remember all the items, but about 10 years ago my sister was serving in the Peace Corps in Ukraine. There were all kinds of things she couldn't get, so I made up a care package of everyday items that she missed. There were some OTC medications and personal items.
