Although we cannot be sure normally because most disease traces would disappear along with the decomposing soft tissues soon after death, there is no reason to suppose that disease generally is not as old as complex life itself; well back before the Mesozoic in which the dinosaurs flourished..
That just boggled my mind Durdle. I mean I thought it was "civilization" that created caused diseases. I thought that way back then there'd be no disease. That death came from nature or fighting other forms of life. But disease? I was truly shocked. So what could have caused cancer 77 million years ago? I'm gonna ask. Thank you for your reply! :)
