Postal workers say that cutting overtime effectively slows down the mail and that is what has been done. The stupid boytoy de Joy says no?

Said UNDER OATH that overtime was not cut and that mail is not being slowed down. UNDER OATH.

The workers say otherwise because they are LIVING IT.

Does no one in the pumpkina** employ have any decency? Are they all so insulting as to think we cannot see what is really happening? Stupid they are and stupid they will always be. No cure for that.

Excessive overtime (OT) means there aren’t enough workers to do the job.  Many times, it’s cheaper to pay OT than to hire additional employees.  However, the “boss” needs to see why the work isn’t being done in the time allotted, not simply cut all OT.   Balancing labor within the budget is very hard (in retail that “budget” was based on sales so it changed weekly).

Cutting all overtime without hiring additional help puts a strain on current employees.  No one can do 24 hours of work in 8 hours (those that try will quickly burn out, which equals medical leave). However, that’s probably what USPS wants.   Burn them out, and then never hire replacements.  The savings may look great on paper (the biggest expenditure in a business is labor), but the work can’t get done.   Any company who keeps this up cannot survive.

Among the things we know pumpkina** detests is the post office. Privatizing it to one of his obscenely wealthy cronies and then get kickbacks is probably what he'll do if he survives the election. No skin off his nose. Thank you for your helpful and informative reply Shuhak. All these years through all our tragedies the mail always was delivered. That such an a** as the pumpkin and his underling a**es should be the one to royally screw it up is very sad. A dumba** jacka** wins again? Really? Sheesh. I'm waiting for Amazon to buy it out.

Isn't that highly unlikely? The dipstick hates Jeff Bezos and isn't he Amazon? The dipstick is so jealous of Jeff's wealth he can't see straight so whenever he can attack insult harm he will. But if it were possible that could be a solution though I don't really like having anything privatized. Do you? I'm going to ask. Thank you for your reply Shuhak! :)
