This cannot possibly be true. I read that Evangelicals are sticking with Trump. How can that be? What does God think of that and them?

"Do unto others are ye would have others do unto you"  D'ya think God was kidding? D'ya think He makes an exception for disgusting misogynistic boors like Trump? Why?

  • It's because they know Hillary is a satanic **** and they have a sense of perspective and proportion.

  • Successfully cast.  I've never spoken like that, though I've heard others do so and there was a time in my life when I was in a changing room pretty much every day.  I am by no means unusual either.  I also know why it's done, and I'm afraid the explanation is hardly flattering to the speaker.

    Hello, AS:

Lemme see..  We got right wing Mormons, and we got right wing Evangelicals...  One group practices what they preach, and the other are hypocrites as you so deftly pointed out..

  • Excon - I didn't accuse any religious group of hypocrisy. Everyone is in a double bind. Not voting for Trump is tacit support of Hillary and vice versa. You can't just wash your hands of it and walk away. Whatever you do is effectively supporting one or the other, so you have to decide what your conscience is most comfortable with.

Trump just like chasing hot women. There are far worse things. My conscience is more comfortable with a horndog than a satanic, drug smuggling, murdering ****.

The hypocrisy lies with Hillary supporters since they are shaming Trump for a few lusty private statements, when the Clintons are obviously far more debauched.

I think the things Hillary is quoted as saying are far far worse than expressing some lusty thoughts privately.

    Hello again, AS:

No, of course, you didn't ACCUSE Evangelicals of hypocrisy..  You simply pointed it out..  Why do you think Mormons REJECT Trump lock, stock, and barrel??  They're as right wing as you get.

Or, would you rather rant some more?

  • Mormons reject Trump, in favour of someone even further away from their ideals, because they're braindead fools.

It's not hypocritical to support someone who doesn't perfectly represent your ideals. If you believe it is, then you must believe virtually the entire population on both left and right to be hypocrites.

    Hello again, AS:

Sounds like your beef with Mormons goes WAYY beyond politics..

You describe Trump as someone who doesn't perfectly represent your ideals, whereas I would describe Trump as someone who has the OPPOSITE ideals from a truly religious Christian, be he Evangelical or Mormon..

Yet, ONLY the Mormons reject him outright..  Evangelicals, on the other hand, look the other way.. There's only one word for that..  Look.  If you were to tell me that Trump is a scuzbag, but Hillary is worse, I'd BUY that..  But, don't tell me that Trump is just misunderstood.  That's like peeing on my leg and telling me its raining..

    Lesser of two evils.

All this political correctness won't do you any good if you end up in a war with Russia (and possibly China)

You are placing your bet on a vulgarian who is ignorant/arrogant/boorish/wimpish to keep us out of a war with Russia? Why? Because Trump is Putin's lapdog and will suck up to him and let him take over his part of the world without interference? Trump keeps defending Russia and Putin or haven't you noticed?. Trump is  a typical bully boor. All talk and all mouth and all insult 24/7 and as cowardly as they come. You gamble on him to save you? Good luck with that. I am completely serious. Good luck with that. Thank you for your reply Malizz and Happy Tuesday. You relegate his lustful disgusting sexually demeaning  history and  proclivity to simply being politically incorrect? That's it?  I see. Well actually I don't understand that attitude at all. :( This post was edited by RosieG at October 11, 2016 3:02 AM MDT

You shouldn't believe all the Russophobic propaganda put out by the Clinton clique. It is purely designed to enrich their cronies in the armament industry at the expense of the US taxpayer. NATO has moved no end of military hardware right up to the Russian border totally contrary to international agreements just because Russia moved to protect Crimea from the indiscriminate bombing of civilians perpetrated in the Donbass by the illegally installed regime of the Ukraine.

As for the sexual issue, it is largely androphobic propaganda calculated to keep the sisterhood right behind Hillary.

The choice is vote for Trump or not at all.

As a Christian I cannot vote for a pro-choice candidate, a candidate who  supports gay marriage, a party who votes to remove the mention of God from their platform, etc....

But you CAN vole for a vulgarian who insults many groups of people but saves his best for women for whom he shows complete contempt? If he were to treat Mary, mother of Jesus, like that would you still vote for him? Being revered/adored/worshipped for being such a creep as he is is quite  astonishing to me. No matter how low he goes you are there to defend him.  What will it take to make you open your eyes and  see what he is? What if he were to rape a child? Would you still support him? What will it take for you to distance yourself and abandon him?  Thank you for your reply m2c and Happy Tuesday to thee! :)

You have not seen me defend him.

I am voting solely on policy issues. They are both disgusting in private life.

I'm flummoxed PeaPod. I truly am. It is so strange. I wonder what it would take for his  adoring worshippers to abandon him?. If he were caught in the act of raping a child would that do it or would they still defend him and blame the child? It is a curious world with many curious people in it. Trump supporters are among the cost curious of all. Thank you for your reply and Happy  Tuesday! :)

They sure have no problem getting together and protesting gay marriage.

They will always rally behind someone representing the Republican party, regardless what he or she has done.  Funny how forgiveness can suddenly come into play with some, but not others.

Being raised as a Christian myself, I always thought the liberals were more in keeping with the teachings of Christ.  But hey, I am not looking to argue that here since that would take on a whole other discussion that I don't have the energy to partake in.

If god is deciding then would god choose someone who has made crude jokes about relations with women as most men do, or would he decide on someone else who laughs about slandering a 12 year old rape victim and making sure the 41 year old child rapist has no prison time? One sin is a sin you would ask forgiveness for, the other a sin that deserves afterlife in hell. I have a 7 year old daughter and of course I do not like crude jokes about women when I think of her but jokes come and go and that cannot be compared to an absolutely indefensible action such as as laughing over freeing a child rapist and attacking the victim.

True Christians will not get involved in the politics of this world. They take the words of the dusciple James very seriously "adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever, therefore, wants to be a friend of the world is making himself an enemy of God." A Christian knows that the solution to all our problems and woes does not lie in the hands of such imperfect individuals but rather in the very capable hands of his appointed king and his beloved Son. I totally disagree with thee Autumn. I am a True Christian and have been since I can remember. I taught Sunday School when I was 12 years old to kindergarten children. I also vote and keep up to date on what is going on in the world. God put us here to live our lives Autumn. If He did not want us to get involved with the world Why Did He Put Us Here? If we do nothing but remove ourselves from the world what good did we do? How did we live a purposeful life? It isn't only that God wants us to worship him. He wants us to love one another and do for one another and help one another.  We rarely disagree my friend but this time we do. So what, right? thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday! :)
