In Western societies, do you think pet ownership includes a majority of mammals versus non-mammals?
Inspired by one of the answers to this question: https://answermug.com/forums/topic/114715/pet-owners-what-illness-or-medical-condition-that-is-usually-on/view/post_id/828017/page/1 ~
Number-wise, non-mammal likely outnumber mammals. Because fish and other aquatic pets may come in close as people tend to have more than one of these in their home. I have at least 30 or so mini-shrimp in one aquarium.
So in my home, non-mammals outnumber mammals as pets.
I really don't know. Since my own morals dictate that wild animals should not be kept as pets, I hope mammals outnumber non-mammals, but I truly have no idea.
