Why would there be a Covid screening station in the middle of Walmart? Does this make any sense?

Nothing about Walmart makes any sense. Logically, if they want to do testing, it should be in the parking lot.

Parking lot would make sense.  But in the store. (The front of the store were everyone goes by is just crazy.)

Yes, it really is. Not much thought for the public's health or their customer's health. I had to get tested about a month ago, it was a drive up and it wasn't at Walmart. This post was edited by glenho at September 14, 2020 12:00 AM MDT

Sounds like it makes more cents then sence - if they get people into the middle of the  store chances are good that those people will buy something on the way out. Cheers and happy weekend!

I thought they were exclusively doing drive-through screening. Where did you hear otherwise?

I wonder if the local team set it up against corporate's wishes. I bet the head office would be ticked if they knew that happened.

I don't know. I have not had the chance to go over to our bigger Walmart yet too see if they are doing the same thing.

I know a lot of stores are regularly testing their employees.
