Nothing TRAGIC about being a sports fanatic my friend. You should have seen me, Rosie G, when my son was a teenager! His friends would come over and we'd watch BASKETBALL together and I knew all the stats of all the guys. I was a CELTICS fans and they? LAKERS of course! We had some very spirited times way back when. I even followed COLLEGE basketball to see who the up and comers might be futurely. I'd bet on games. Well I only bet once! I bet my boss that the Celtics would beat the Lakers at some playoff game. The game was played and I lost the bet. At the time I was visiting my son who by that time was going to Cal Berkeley and lived near the campus so I mailed my boss the $5 which was the bet. I was VERY SERIOUS about it. In fact I remember far preferring to watch the games with the guys than to make small talk with the moms who might be there. Gosh those times were fun. Now I'm a fanatic fan of Roger Federer as you know but I think he is in the twilight of his career. SIGH. Thank you for your reply R! Did you ever play Cricket?
