Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Any of you ever seen the Aurora Borealis in person? Anything you've ever seen in your surroundings naturewise more beautiful than that?
I think you told me about the triple rainbow sighting E. We've seen only a double and that took our breaths away. I am visualizing a triple in my mind's eye. Too Awesome. And where were you when you saw the Aurora? Not in Toledo right? Does it last a long time or is it just a few minutes? I expect I'd be so awed I wouldn't be able to move. I'm visualizing now what I saw on a TV show and WOW! Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday to thee and thine! STAY SAFE! :)
I have seen them many times in Northern Manatoba. Not sure if you know this but they also make a faint sound and it is said that the sound is Mother Nature gasping in amazement at the spectacular show. Cheers!
Oh Nanoose you are so lucky! I did not know they made a sound. I love the explanation! Mother Nature amazed at her own creation. How long do they last? Minutes only or hours? Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday to thee and thine! :)
