    You mean they would have to "make an effort" and "want to" and "try to"? Being as how they are all lazy bums that is moot. Sigh. Well you can't win 'em all can you Durdle? Is that true or just another inane saying? Thank you for your reply! :)

    I think laziness is their biggest problem!

    I imagine "You can't win 'em all" was inspired by sports, or perhaps gambling, but I have not seen or heard its origin described.
