It just means that 34% of Florida mail in ballots will end up in a land fill somewhere compliments of the Postal Workers Union which has endorsed Biden. Let's get something else straight while we're at it. An absentee ballot is for those with legitimate reasons for being out of state during an election cycle. Mail- ins are for those too lazy to get off their asses and vote during the early voting period that every state has. Voting is a privilege and not some God given guarantee or right. In any discussion of civil liberties, we should consider that people have gotten through thousands of years of history without the "right" to vote. When you look at the American Electorate, (Ignorance personified), one can't help but believe that we'd be better off without voting.
New York State only recently adopted early voting and only due to the Covid pandemic is allowing New Yorkers to vote by absentee ballot, even if they were previously not qualified to do so.
