There was a series on the American political system on the radio recently.. They said that the college system favours Republicans. For that reason it's unfair. It's hard to say beyond that as we don't have proportional representation here either
I'd be very glad to hear that the majority of Americans don't want him voted back in.. .I hope they all go out and vote against him!
Former Republicans have formed a group called THE LINCOLN PROJECT and are running pro JOE BIDEN ads and they are very good. These are very smart savvy INTELLIGENT people who believe the demented duck is insane and must go. The only ones who support him are TERRIFIED of him. Toady sycophants spineless cowardly IMMORAL weaklings. And the demented duck base. Explaining them is easy. They are all pro extreme right wing FASCIST judges being appointed to lard the justice system with tighta** right wing decisions. The demented duck and moscow mitch the majority senate leader are proud of their record. The base is one dimensional with one basket full of one egg. They require little to keep them around. One goal. One wish. As Americans and decent human beings they are inadequate and wanting. And so it goes. Sigh. Thank you for your reply Addb. His base adore his vile evil cruelty. They approve of everything he has done or said and have high hopes that he will continue destroying America and rolling over for putrid vlad putin. Go figger! Those who favor abolishing the electors have no reasonable comprehension or understanding of checks and balances in government. People who believe in the representative democracy (THIS NATION IS NOT A DIRECT DEMOCRACY and it never has been) that we live in won't stand for five states having complete control over forty five states and the elective process by virtue of population only. This attack on the Electoral College is a veiled attempt at eliminating both local and state governments in favor of a monolithic Federal system in which only ONE PARTY would have a voice. Fortunately, we had enlightened founders that were able to see beyond their own time and circumstances and create an equitable system that has worked well for 250 years. The real question posed here is not "Why doesn't he just go away?" It's more like, "Why do we have to tolerate opposition to our agenda and why won't it go away?"
