The kind of people who don't know how government works.. Obama said he was gonna close Gitmo. Because he didn't, some people think he lied. People like me simply understand that the president is NOT a dictator and, in spite of the promises he made, he can't just do as he pleases..
Doesn't it take Congress to approve closing it excon? Isn't that why our prez hasn't been able to do so? Could he do it by issuing an Executive Order? I"m not as knowledgeable about things like that as you are. It seems to me he has been trying to close that evil place since he became prez. I know he keeps trying so I don't fault him for not executing/implementing it/achieving it. Thank you for your reply! :)
