Have you ever formed a decision based on poll results? (This is a poll.)

A. Never

B.  Sometimes

C.  Always

D.  I cannot answer this yet because I have to wait for its results so that I may decide based on how others answer it. Hey, wait . . .

B - If by "poll" you mean considering the informed opinions of other people in whom I have some trust.

I have learned that there is wisdom in experience.

That makes sense. Thanks for presenting an angle I had not thought of.

BTW, polls aren't reliable. Too bad I only realized that at the end of the 2016 Presidential Election. In my case, polls have gone the way of the dodo bird. This post was edited by Zack at October 18, 2020 2:58 PM MDT

You’re absolutely correct!  It’s difficult to determine how a poll has been conducted, who was questioned, whether or not the questions were biased/open-ended/self-serving/slanted/vague, etc., whether or not the so-called “results” have been manipulated or are being reported in their entirety, and a whole slew of other manipulations that may have taken place.

Oh, REALLY?  Ahem, in that case, I’ll need to speak with you later this evening; there are some things I’m going to want to do for me. Please spend the rest of the day getting plenty of rest. (Cough, cough.)
