    Why?
    Because we are constantly told that our only choices are the Republican or Democrat candidates.
    So if you don't like either of them, why bother to vote?

    If the eligible voters who don't vote, chose to vote for a 3rd Party candidate ... it would totally upset the status quo in politics.
    Even if that person didn't win, it would scare the britches off the "Big Two".
