    Shouldn't that be the other way round?

    I thought "bug" is American slang for any small invertebrate with legs, be it an insect, spider, woodlouse, mite or other.

    I Googled it first before I asked the question Durdle. "All bugs are insects but under the technical definition NOT ALL INSECTS ARE BUGS". Do with that what you will m'dear. I just report. You decide.

    Now you may ask what that has to do with anything? It's bugged me so I thought I'd ask and see if it bugs others too. Thank you for your reply. You might wish to Google it too to verify my reply. I don't mind it at all if you do. Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday! :)
