    I prefer Roger Moore... but I was still saddened at the news of Connery's passing.

    To me, Connery is and always will be the REAL Bond.
    Roger Moore was too old (by the time he did Octopussy he was MUCH too old), as well as being Templar, Simon Templar. As far as I can remember, The Saint never had a licence to kill.
    George Lazenby was too relaxed, Timothy Dalton not relaxed enough, Pierce Brosnan was probably second only to Connery but never quite got the accent right (James O'Bond, begorrah!) and Daniel Craig is so wooden that all Bond movies with him in the title role have been about the gadgets rather than the character - he brings nothing to the role.
