I expect hostile foreign hackers can slow down or DISABLE voting machines from a distance. What happens if that happens on ELECTION DAY?

SIMULTANEOUSLY ALL OVER THE COUNTRY?

Per a newspaper article in this morning Riverside Press Enterprise machines were very slow and came to a standstill yesterday while folks were voting.

Could that have been replicated in cities and states everywhere?

If electric grids can be taken down why can't the entire voting operation?

What happens then?

COULD DUMB CLUCK DUCK QUACKS DISABLE VOTING MACHINES ON ELECTION DAY AND THEN BLAME DEMOCRATS FOR HAVING DONE IT?

Why not. What could it hurt? Everyone says so.

A voting machine should NEVER be connected to the internet. NEVER.
It also should printout a paper confirmation of the votes recorded for recount if needed.
