To the religious among you. Which of these best fits/describes JESUS?

Socialist
Fascist
Capitalist
Communist
Populist
Nationalist
Isolationist
Racist

HUMANIST

Jesus was a very good politician in the best sense in my opinion. His message was simple and consistent. He did not say one thing and mean something else. He did not try to bamboozle. He was of the people by the people for the people though touched by the hand of GOD.

He did not promulgate hate nor try to destroy undermine sabotage harm others. He did NOT collude plot conspire with anyone for anything at any time for his own aggrandizement.

WWJD? What would Jesus do? What shady despot dictator cruel inhuman humans do? Or the opposite?

Socialist. His cousin John the Baptist was practically a Marxist.

Jesus healed the sick. He didn't inquire as to their Blue Cross status. He championed the poor and had NO TRUCK with hypocrisy. He threw the bankers out of the Temple hurling imprecations and abuse at them. He told the rich that it was harder for them to get into Heaven than to push a camel through the eye of a needle (NOT a euphemism for a gate in Jerusalem, the definite article is MISSING from the noun - he said "eye of A needle" rather than "eye of THE needle" and the distinction is important. He meant the sewing implement). And the clincher? Matthew 25: 31-46. No, I'm not telling you - read it.

Clearly you KNOW I think so too. Yet the political party which is albatross in America VILIFIES socialists but embraces adores JESUS! Go figger that one out and then let me know how they can be so absolutely contradictory and not realize it? Beats me! But then hypocrisy is the foundation of so much in the world. Bifurcation contradiction logic tight compartments. Annoying as he**! Thank you for your thoughtful and informative reply R and Happy Sunday to thee and thine! :)
