"The president is absolutely within his right to DEMAND recounts". Unlimited? Recounts until he gets the result he wants?

Just one should be needed. One that verifies that the vote is legal.    If Biden won with legal votes, why does the left worry so much about recounts. It would just confirm Biden's win.  Why wouldn't a Biden supporter want the country to be confident in his victory?

Biden supporters ARE confident in his victory.  Biden supporters want to see a smooth transition, but Trump can't accept that he lost the election and is not only an embarrassment to this country, but needlessly throwing dreck at the wall in the hopes that something sticks.  He has had ONE minor victory so far and it will not change the outcome of the election.  It's time for him to grow up, concede as graciously as possible (which for him is a stretch) and give Bien the tools he needs to transition.

If confident then have a real recount and prove the integrity of the election.

There is proof of a glitch that counted thousands of ballots for Biden that were Trump votes. This same software is used in nearly 50 other districts on that state.  Why would we not do a hand recount/audit in those districts?

They ARE recounting ballots and, as you can see, if you've seen the news ay time this week, the differences are not large enough to have changed the fact that Biden got more votes than Trump, therefore not changing the outcome of the election.  As of this morning, the only state in contention was North Carolina which was declared for Trump.   Biden has 290 electoral votes and Trump has 232.  A candidate needs 270 electoral votes to win.  Biden has exceeded that.  BINDEN IS THE WINNER!!!

MI is doing a hand recount with verification of legal ballot?   When did this start?

GA just started their recount and audit.

    Just saw this:

"A Michigan judge has shot down an attempt to delay the certification of 2020 election results in Detroit, Michigan, after determining that challengers lacked a "full understanding" of the process and their claims weren't credible.

Judge Timothy Kenny on Friday rejected two poll challengers' bid to stop vote certification in Detroit, where President-elect Joe Biden defeated President Trump, saying it "would be an unprecedented exercise of judicial activism for this court" to do so, CNN reports. The judge found the allegations of misconduct brought by the Republican poll watchers and an election official to be "not credible," The Washington Post reports."

That is not what I am talking about. I am talking about a know glitch that switched a district from red to blue.  The same software is being used in 47 other districts. We need to count by hand and verify the glitch did not happen in these other counties. It could have happened in the opposite direction as well. But we do not know unless they do the hand recount.

There is no number of recounts that will yield the result Trump wants.

Probably true. But the districts using the software with a known glitch that miscounted need to be verified. 47 other disticts in MI alone.

But Biden won Michigan by at least 150,000 votes, so it would be unlikely to change the outcome. Judges have ruled against several lawsuits seeking to toss out votes and delay certification of results because the allegations are mostly hearsay and not credible. And even if they could change the result in Michigan, it wouldn't affect the overall outcome, so that renders it moot.

In a speech yesterday in the rose garden, even Trump alluded to not knowing which the next administration will be. Perhaps reality is finally sinking in.

On the other hand, former presidents live pretty well. I read an article speculating that he will be able to command a million bucks for speaking engagements in the US and even more overseas, and even Melania, Ivanka, Donald Jr., and Eric will be paid $75-150k to speak. Don't know how civil or criminal prosecutions might affect that.

I don't see any European nations scheduling Trump speeches any time soon.  Russia, China and North Korea might although I tend to doubt it.  Former presidents left office in a civil and courteous manner, unlike what I expect from the Trump Traveling Circus.  Maybe the Proud Boys and QAnon could gin up the fee for one of the Trump speeches.  Of course, Melania won't get as much because she can hardly be understood.

If criminal and/or civil prosecutions put any of them behind bars, I sure hope they are all put in solitary confinement because it would be cruel and unusual punishment to put them in with commo criminals.

There were 6,000 votes counted wrong in just one district. Making it appear at though Biden won in a landslide.  (13K to 3.7K) But result is Trump win (9.7K to 7K)  There are 47 others.  If the glitch only affected 1/2 as much as there.  That more than covers the distance between the two candidates.  (47*3,000= 129,000)  Subtract  From Biden 129K  (150-129=21) and add it to Trump (0+129=129) and  Trump wins by 108K.

It needs to be verified that the glitch did not happen in other places. Why they cannot do that to give Biden's Presidency the authenticity every President would want?  Every American should want.

Then let it be proven in court. They haven't been doing very well with that process.

True.  If they verify, I will believe it.  But not until then.   It will end up in the courts likely the SCOTUS.

Not until it gets ruled on by lower courts and then appealed. SCOTUS doesn't want to get involved.

Your "facts" about voting glitches is unfounded:

"Government, experts agree: There were no deleted or changed votes, including by Dominion.

A national coalition announced Thursday that there is no evidence that any voting software deleted or changed votes in last week's election, per USA TODAY.

In fact, the security group — which includes the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and the National Association of State Election Directors — described the election as "the most secure in American history."

"There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised," the coalition concluded."

Thank you for your link.   But your article does not even address the county where it happened.
