Being painfully shy by grammar school years were not that great. I loved the learning part. The socializing part not so much. High school too. Good student but I didn't have a lot of friends. The weird thing is I was voted "most sophisticated"! I will never figure that out. Maybe they mistook the shyness for something else. I don't know. I didn't ask.
