    Actually, gun maker Remington Outdoor will be broken up and sold after a multiday bankruptcy auction, in which seven different buyers won the bidding for parcels of the company's weapons and ammunition holdings.

    Say WHAT? Be still my heart. BANKRUPTCY for a gun maker? That can't possibly be. Can it? Boy that's takes the cake. Why haven't the gun people kept Remington in business? Thank you for that info about which I was clueless. Think it might have a domino effect?  :)

    They were a very old company located in upstate New York.  Other gun companies bought off their assets, so I doubt there will be any domino effect.
