If you ever reward yourself or treat yourself to something special what would it be? You know for your birthday or whatever?

I gather single malt is better tasting than double malt? Thank you for your reply E. Do you take it straight on the rocks? I drink vodka because I don't want the taste of alcohol to be what is predominant. I usually put in a small amount of juice and then Club Soda. :) Happy Wednesday to thee and thine. All Scotch is imported from Scotland. Single means it came from the same distillery age in the same type of barrels using 100% barley as the ferment. Blended Scotches are cheaper and have other tastes.

WHAT? REALLY? I did not know that. So no anyone anywhere is allowed to make scotch? How did Scotland manage that? Can you get a patent on booze? Silly question but serious nevertheless. That really blows my mind. I know VODKA is made in countries other than Russia. How could Scotland effect such a deal as that. Thank you for your reply E. Single malts are distilled all over the world, but to be called Scotch is must be from Scotland.
