Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Happy American Thanksgiving Day to everyone everywhere. I hope you count your blessings every day. Not just once a year. Do you have many?
Thank you and the same to you and your family. Yes, my family and I have many things for which to be thankful every day - most important of which is good health. Enjoy your feast. :)
The day was uneventful. I spoke with one of my nieces for about an hour and a half. She had to work and it was slow, so we had a chance to talk for a long while. She and her fiance were supposed to be coming in from CO for Christmas, but they decided not to because of the virus. That means I won't be going to PA for Christmas, but in a way, I'm relieved. I think we should just erase 2020 from the calendar and start over again. :)
I agree. 2020 is just something we "get through" and then see what's on the other side in terms of possibilities. 70 million traveled at Thanksgiving. How many million will repeat or beat that for Christmas?. There will be consequences so all we can do is "wait and see". Not my favorite thing. Thank you for your thoughtful and informative reply! Boy how nifty is that? A nice long phone conversation! We know staying home is the best thing we can do for everyone. I haven't been out of the house for a week. We go today to Walmart and then just stop at a place to mail a bill. Then home we go. Good thing home is my favorite place. Elsewise by now I'd be a wreck! :)
