Wouldn't it be fun if, when airing old TV shows, they aired the original advertisements?

    There used to be a channel 20-ish years ago (can't remember what it was) that did that! It was some kind of retro channel and they'd mix in old commercials with newer ones! It was so awesome, I loved it! 

    "Ancient Chinese Secret, Huh? CALGON!" 

    I've been known to watch old commercials just for fun. Nostalgia.

    I could be wrong but, I think the channel you are referring to is/was Nick At Nite's TV Land.  I remember they would air one retro commercial during each commercial break of their prime time line up.

    I do remember that from Nick at Nite, too!  This was a different channel, though. At the time, I was working a job that included a 2-hour lunch break. I lived only a mile or so from my place of employment, so I went home each day and sometimes watched whatever 70s-80s program was on - and the commercials.
