January 6, 2021 looms large. Any idea how many GOP Senators plan to speak on behalf of overturning the election results? Or GOP House?

If specific GOP members go on record as disputing the validity of the results of the November 2020 election will that serve them well futurely with we the people or damage them beyond repair?

What would YOU do if you were a GOP house member or GOP Senator?

I expect there are no Democrats who would dispute the validity of the election. That would be suicide.

And perhaps not disputing it will be suicide for the GOP.

Well conjecture and opining is worth zilch.

I have not heard exact numbers but all we need is 1 House and 1 Senate.

Yes. That I know. I'm sure you will have no problemo. What happens after is unknown at the moment. Instead of a process according to protocol it will be a dog and pony show. Alas. Alack. Que lastime. Pauvre cito. C'est ca. Merci mille fois et adieu! :)

Last time it resulted in a backroom deal that Hayes was President but he agreed to remove the Troops out of the south.

But it would require a majority vote in both the House and Senate to toss out any state's electoral votes. That won't happen in the House with a Dem majority, and it's unlikely to happen in the Senate given how many Republicans have acknowledged Biden as president-elect. And even in such an unlikely event, that state's electoral votes would just be eliminated and Biden still would have a majority of the reduced total. Unfortunately for m2c, who is desperately grasping at any possible straw, there is no way that such a thing can make Trump win, which means the only purpose would be grandstanding and political theater.

There was NO vote last time. Just a deal between the two parties.

That said I think the only way anything changes is through the state legislatures.

Which obviously isn't happening, as we have gone back and forth and around and around and around and back and forth and around and around and around about. There is simply no way that any court or legislative body is going to toss out hundreds of thousands of votes and disenfranchise all the people who cast them just so Trump can win. Face it, he lost and that's all there is to it.

WI judge has ruled it it possible.

If they look at the evidence they will not be disenfranchising voters....they will be correcting the fraud that has disenfranchised voters.

But, as I told you on another string, a federal court upheld Biden's win in the state. NO COURT OR LEGISLATIVE BODY IS GOING TO DISENFRANCHISE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF VOTERS! But go ahead, keep being delusional. Suit yourself.
