Tree iguanas are falling down in south Florida! A pestilence? LOCUSTS again?

Nope. They just don't do well below 50 degrees. They get sluggish and sleepy and appear to be dead. POOR iguanas. How many iguanas live in the trees? Dozens hundreds thousands millions? Guess we'll find that out.

All Green Iguanas live in trees.  (the Green Iguana just one species of iguanas)  There are about 3,000 green iguanas living in Florida.

Rattlesnakes and alligator lizards are bad enough, but I'd sure hate to have a 5-8 lb. lizard fall on my head.  (look, ma, it's raining lizards)

"It's raining dogs and cats". We've heard that before. But iguanas? Geez! Poor things. They can't help themselves when it gets too cold. They go limp and look as if they're dead and they drop. I wonder if in the dropping some die or are crippled? The world is going really weird on us Shuhak. Really weird. What next? Thank you for your reply! :)
